About us

A cold storage family, building apps for India's cold chain

ColdKonnect Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd is based in Hyderabad. We make two apps: Cold Konnect for farmers and traders, and Cold Konnect Partner for cold storages, trucks and suppliers.

Kisaan Veer asks where to store his harvest; Vyapaar Veer answers that his cold storage is on Cold Konnect and can be booked in the app

The problem

A large share of India's fruit and vegetables never reaches a plate in good condition, because there is no cold storage or truck nearby when it is needed. Farmers also often sell in a hurry, without knowing the price in the next mandi.

Our model

  • Farmers and traders use the Cold Konnect app for free.
  • Cold storages, truck owners and suppliers pay a yearly plan for the Partner app, from ₹25,000 a year for a cold storage.
  • No commission on deals. People agree rates and pay each other directly.
