Delete your account and data
You can request deletion of your Cold Konnect account along with every piece of personal data we hold about you. Two paths:
From the app
- 1. Open the Cold Konnect app and tap Account in the bottom tab bar.
- 2. Scroll to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- 3. Confirm with your registered phone number + OTP.
- 4. Your account is queued for deletion and you are logged out immediately.
By email
- 1. Email social@coldkonnect.com from the email address linked to your account (or include your registered phone number in the body).
- 2. Subject line: Account deletion request.
- 3. We respond within 24 business hours to verify your identity, then queue the deletion.
What gets deleted
Within 30 days of your request, we permanently delete: your phone number, name, profile photo, selected crops, saved location, login sessions, plant-scan photos, community posts and comments, leads you sent, and reviews you wrote. Encrypted backups are purged within 90 days on a rolling basis.
What we retain (legal obligation)
Indian GST law (Section 36 of the CGST Act, 2017) requires us to keep tax invoices and payment records for 7 years from the financial year in which they were issued. If you ever paid for the Plus subscription, the invoice + transaction ID stays on file for that window — but everything else identifying you is wiped.
After deletion
You can sign up again at any time with the same phone number — you will start with a fresh account; we cannot restore the deleted data.
